Motorists are being advised to expect delays following a crash in Pokeno this afternoon.
Police say emergency services are responding to the two-vehicle crash, involving a truck, at the Great South Road on-ramp northbound.
“There are no reports of injury; however, a chemical spill has meant the road will be closed until the scene is cleared.”
Fire appliances from five stations are on site, from as far as Otara.
Motorists are being advised to expect delays.
