A cyber attack on thoroughbred sales website, Gavelhouse, has caused New Zealand Bloodstock (NZB) to postpone its scheduled National Online Yearling Sale.
As reported, the sale was expected to conclude last night, however it will now resume sales from 6pm tonight.
The website received ongoing interference which affected several lots causing major disruption to bidders, a statement from Karaka-based NZB says.
“We apologise for the significant inconvenience caused and are working to ensure the issue is resolved quickly for a smoother bidding service.”
