Frankliners are again likely to flock together and fly south this winter for Fieldays at Mystery Creek.
Billed as the Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event, Fieldays showcases the best in the business of agribusiness. Careers and Education, Forestry, Health and Wellbeing and Rural Living pavilions as well as a crowd favourite, the Innovation Hub, all combine to celebrate New Zealand’s primary industries.
Rural sport also comes to the fore through the Tractor Pull, Fencing and Excavator Competitions.
A new highlight, the Fieldays Function Centre on the Village Green will create additional opportunities for businesses to host innovative and engaging functions during the event, organisers expect.
A mix of the new and tried-and-true appears to be on the menu for Fieldays 2026.
Preparations are already ramping up on-site ahead of opening day on June 10, NZ Fieldays Society’s chief executive Richard Lindroos confirms.
“Mystery Creek Events Centre is a hive of activity. In the lead up to the gates opening, we will have over 14,794 contractor induction entries on-site,” he says.
“Fieldays stands as one of New Zealand’s true mega events, a place where industry, community, and innovation converge at scale to shape the future of agriculture. The countdown signals more than just an opening date, it marks the build-up to one of our most significant national events”.
As part of ticket purchasing, attendees will have the option to donate to the Rural Support Trust.
“We’re proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Rural Support Trust through our donation initiative,” Lindroos adds. “Donations support the Trust’s vital work providing practical assistance and wellbeing support to farming families and rural communities across New Zealand.”
