One person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Ardmore early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Airfield Road shortly before 6am.
Police say the crash occurred near the intersection with Mullins Road, which remains closed while investigations continue.
Airfield and Mullins Roads are closed, with cordons in place at Clevedon-Takanini Road, Mill Road, and Papakura-Clevedon Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes while the scene is cleared.
The Serious Crash Unit is examining the circumstances of the crash.
