The popular Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon returns for another action-packed season, with Kiwi kids set to swim, bike and run their way through South Auckland’s Mountfort Park in Manurewa on Tuesday, November 25.
What began in 1992 with just 500 kids is now a Kiwi rite of passage, with more than half a million TRY stars crossing the finish line.
Adding star power to the sideline is All Blacks legend and proud Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon ambassador, Ardie Savea.
“Enjoy yourself, have fun and know that just being there is enough,” he says.
“It might feel like a big event, but it’s about giving it your best go.”

More than 2,000 young athletes are expected to take part in the South Auckland event, earning their own Weet-Bix TRYathlon medal and joining the ranks of Kiwi kids who’ve given it a try.
Registrations for six-15-year-olds are open now at www.tryathlon.co.nz and will remain open on the day of the event, subject to availability.
The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is proudly the world’s largest triathlon series for under-15s, encouraging confidence, fun and a sense of achievement in every participant.
