A special exhibition showcasing Franklin is happening in Pukekohe today.
The team behind the Franklin Project, along with the Franklin Local Board, invite the public to an exhibition showcasing the region and the exciting new visual identity that celebrates Franklin’s distinct sense of place.
The collection features a series of images captured over the past year, highlighting the rich tapestry of landscapes, people, and places that make Franklin, Franklin.
Franklin economic broker Christina Rogstad says the community open day marks the beginning of a new, more unified chapter for Franklin.
“It’s about connection and collaboration, and comes at a fascinating time of change with the new local board being sworn in,” says Rogstad.
“There are many stories to share, and many waiting to be told. This work will help shape Franklin’s shared identity, connecting communities and positioning the region for future opportunity.”
Scott Kington, founding partner at Beyond Usual, the design agency behind the brand identity, says it’s an exciting time in Franklin.
“The launch offers a chance for locals to see how projects and partnerships are helping to support their communities through a time of rapid growth and economic development.
The event coincides with the launch of the second edition of the Franklin Magazine, another significant body of work that highlights Franklin’s unique identity, and the people and places that make it so special.
The magazine will be available online at franklinnz.com or at local spots across the region.
- Franklin Exhibition open day, 9am to 4pm, Thursday, November 6 at 1 Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
