The Bombay Farm Run and Walk is returning for another year and the 2026 version promises to be the best one yet.
Sponsored by the Bombay Community Group, the course will be a mix of flat tracks and hilly terrain, taking place along farm tracks and paddocks, giving entrants a chance to enjoy the area’s natural beauty.
There will be a choice of either a 5km or 10km track to choose from, which participants can either walk or run.
Spot prizes will be handed out, and a barbecue, a bake sale, and real fruit ice cream will be
for sale at the finish line. The Bombay Giant Pumpkin Competition will also be judged.
Children are welcome, and it’s advised they participate either in a backpack or in an off-road buggy.

Please note the 5km track is better suited to buggies, as more of the track is on farmland.
Entry fees are $30 for the 10km track and $20 for the 5km track. The entry fee for children
aged from five to 16 years old is $10, and for preschoolers aged up to four years old it’s $5. Child discounts will be applied when entering their age.
The event is being held on Saturday, March 21, with races starting at 9.30am at 554 Paparata Road in Bombay.
