No throughfare – King St closed?

Roadworks on King Street seem to be causing some confusion among motorists this morning.

While the road is closed, it is only for a short stretch at the intersection with Hall Street, outside the northern end of the Pukekohe Town Square.

The street is open to pedestrians and all businesses are accessible.

As reported previously, the work is required to repair structural issues and replace the ‘courtesy crossings’ with full zebra crossings.

Depending on weather, the road will be closured May 17–25 with stop/go traffic management then be in place until June 5.
