Courting victory – Stars rise, Bulls begin run

The hoop dreams of two locally-based ball clubs are set to commence and, all going well, their opponents will be in for a rude awakening.

While the Franklin Bulls will be away against cross-town rivals the Tuatara this Saturday, the Northern Stars face the Mystics at Pulman Arena.

As previously reported in Franklin Times, the Stars shone during their preseason clash against the Magic – if they can rise to the occasion again this weekend against the 2025 ANZ Champions, the team will be off to a solid start.
