New Zealand Police investigating a homicide in Hamilton, have released the name of the man who died and are appealing for information about a vehicle believed to be linked to the incident.
The victim has been named as 55-year-old Jason Poa, also known as Jason Tipene.
Emergency services were called to a Lake Crescent address at about 6.15pm on Thursday, December 18, where two people were found injured. One man later died at the scene, while the other was taken to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.

Detective Inspector Daryl Smith, Waikato District Manager Criminal Investigations, said the homicide investigation remains ongoing.
Police are now seeking sightings of a Subaru Impreza hatchback, registration KZH714, and are urging anyone who may have seen the vehicle to come forward.
