A plan to discuss a plan is in place for the Franklin Local Board.
Following the release of the draft local board plan (available from June 23), a drop-in session is to be held at Āwhitu District School on July 8.
At this meeting, major points outlined in the plan will be discussed, covering everything from safer streets, playgrounds and sports facilities, town centre upgrades and climate action to cultural identity.
Feedback already provided and submitted at the meeting will help the board understand what matters most to our community and shape their priorities and goals.
This is our chance to influence local decision-making before detailed plans are drafted.
