We’re proudly Kiwi-owned and have been helping Kiwis achieve their financial goals for over 70 years.
Being a cooperative makes us different from other financial services – and we like that! It means all profits we make go back to our members to benefit them by paying no-to-low fees and offering better interest rates on loans and savings accounts.
Our products and services are designed to make your personal finances easier to manage.
We offer personal loans, savings accounts, term investments, and everyday banking accounts. Parents and/or legal guardians can also open banking accounts for their children. These accounts are designed to encourage good saving habits from a young age, with a great interest rate and no monthly account fees.
Glenbrook and Pukekohe branch manager Lauren Morley leads a small team of experienced
locals who are passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals and the community.
With a branch in King Street, they are in a great location, and have a smaller branch at
Glenbrook, serving the steel mill community.
Lauren says all staff have volunteer hours spent in the community working on projects and
collecting money for charities.
“It’s part of us giving back to the community.”
We believe in the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and love to support our communities regularly through volunteering, school banking and sponsorship, she says.
Community groups and other organisations can apply for sponsorship via the First Credit Union website.
Opening hours: Monday 10am to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm
