World-class field hockey is being played in Auckland this week and people have opportunities to watch the international matches for free.
The men’s national team of China has arrived for a series of matches against New Zealand opposition from tomorrow Tuesday, May 26, to Tuesday, June 2.
The Auckland Hockey Association is hosting five international games featuring China’s men’s hockey team at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga, with the series including three tests against the New Zealand Vantage Black Sticks.
Entry to the games at Lloyd Elsmore Park Hockey Stadium is free and the schedule of men’s field hockey internationals is:
- China v Auckland Selection, Tuesday, May 26, 7pm.
- China v Vantage NZ Black Sticks, Thursday, May 28, 7pm.
- China v Vantage NZ Black Sticks, Saturday, May 30, 12pm.
- China v Vantage NZ Black Sticks, Sunday, May 31, 12pm.
- China v Auckland Selection, Tuesday, June 2, 7pm.
