They came from Waiuku, Pukekohe, Papakura and Tuakau, from almost every town and city across the British Dominion of New Zealand. They all came, then they went. Not all of them came back.
More than a century later, Frankliners flocked to Anzac Day services across our region once again to cheer those who serve today as well as those who paid the ultimate price.
